A funded-trading challenge firm (FTMO, MyForexFunds, The Funded Trader, Apex) that lets traders prove an algo on a demo, then funds it on a live account with profit-share.

Prop firms run paid evaluation challenges — a trader funds a $200K simulated account with $1,000-$2,000 and must hit ~10% profit while staying under a 5%-10% drawdown limit and 0% daily-loss-per-day rule. EAs written for prop firms must include hard daily-loss and total-loss circuit breakers, news-event pause, slippage protection, and weekend close.
